    From Palatine, walk to the Palatine Metra train station located at 137 W Wood St, Palatine, IL 60067. Take the Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards Chicago. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Chicago Union Station, follow the signs to the 'Ogilvie Transportation Center' to transfer to the CTA. Take the CTA Blue Line towards O'Hare and get off at Washington/Wells station. Transfer to the CTA Brown Line and take it towards Kimball, disembarking at the Washington/Wells station again. Finally, take a short walk to the 600 E Grand Ave, where Navy Pier is located.

    From any location in Palatine, locate the nearest bus stop for Pace bus routes. Take the Pace Route 696 towards the Arlington Park Metra Station. From there, transfer to the Metra train on the Union Pacific Northwest Line to Chicago.
