If you are starting from the Illinois State Capitol, head south on 2nd Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach Capitol Avenue. Turn left onto Capitol Avenue and walk for about 0.3 miles. Then, turn right onto 6th Street and continue walking for approximately 0.2 miles. The Wild Rose Mural will be located on the east side of the street at 6th and Monroe. Look for the vibrant mural on the side of the building.

From the Lincoln Home National Historic Site, walk to the nearest bus stop on 8th Street. Take the Route 10 bus heading towards the downtown area. Ride for about 5 stops (approximately 10 minutes) and disembark at the stop near 6th and Monroe. Walk east for a couple of minutes, and you will find the Wild Rose Mural on the east side of 6th Street.
