Board the bus at the Waukegan Transit Center located at 200 N Genesee St. The bus will take you northbound. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at Sheridan Rd & Church St. From there, walk south on Sheridan Rd for about 5 minutes until you reach the lighthouse.

    You can also take the Metra train from Waukegan to Evanston. Board the Union Pacific North Line at the Waukegan Metra Station located at 100 S Martin Luther King Jr Ave. Take the train heading south towards Chicago. Get off at the Central Street Station in Evanston. From the station, walk east on Central St for about 0.5 miles until you reach Sheridan Rd. Turn left on Sheridan Rd and walk north for about 0.3 miles to reach the Grosse Point Lighthouse.
