Enjoy the scenic ride, and once you arrive, you will be in the vicinity of Highland Park, Illinois 60035.

If you are near the Waukegan Harbor, you can walk to Highland Park. Start by heading northwest on North Harbor Place until you reach North Genesee Street. Turn left on North Genesee Street and continue walking for about 2 miles. After crossing the Waukegan River, continue on North Genesee which will eventually lead you to Highland Park. This is a long walk, so be prepared with comfortable shoes and water!

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Waukegan to Highland Park. Start by heading south on North Genesee Street from downtown Waukegan. Once you reach the intersection with East Grand Avenue, turn left and follow it until you reach North Sheridan Road. Turn right onto North Sheridan Road and follow it north until you reach Highland Park. This route is approximately 7 miles and follows scenic roads by the lake.
