The park's central feature is the Field House Sports, Fitness & Aquatics Center, a modern facility that provides various amenities at affordable prices.The Field House includes a 14,000 square foot fitness center with leading-edge equipment, group classes, and personal training services. The 23,000 square foot indoor aquatics center features multiple pools, including a kiddy pool, lap pool, and therapy pool. Other amenities include a three-story climbing wall, a six-court hardwood gymnasium, and a 1/7-mile indoor track. The Field House also houses meeting rooms, locker rooms, and a branch of the Waukegan Public Library.Outside the Field House, Hinkston Park provides ample green space for picnics, leisurely strolls, and sports activities. The park features picnic tables, playgrounds, and well-maintained walking paths.
