Driving
Lyons Woods Forest Preserve is located at 10200 Blanchard Rd, Waukegan, IL 60087. From Sheridan Road, turn west onto Blanchard Road. The entrance and parking lot are a short distance on the left. Parking is free and generally readily available.
Biking
접근 Lyons Woods via the Robert McClory Bike Path. Look for the marked connector trail approximately 6 miles from the start of the path. Follow the signs to enter the preserve. The bike path provides access to the preserve and connects to other regional trails.
Public Transport
Pace bus route 571 has a stop at the corner of Sheridan Road and Blanchard Road, directly adjacent to the entrance of Lyons Woods. From the bus stop, walk west on Blanchard Road a short distance to the entrance of the preserve. A single ride on Pace costs $1.75.
