Getting There

    If you are in the vicinity of Agra Fort, you can walk to the Taj Mahal. Head southwest on the main road from Agra Fort towards the Taj Mahal entrance. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon reaching the traffic intersection, turn left and continue straight until you reach the Eastern Gate of the Taj Mahal.

    You can easily hire an auto rickshaw from any part of Agra. Simply ask the driver to take you to the Eastern Gate of the Taj Mahal, located at Eastern Gate, Forest Colony, Tajganj, Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282001. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
