This eye-catching tomb, constructed of red sandstone, was commissioned by Anne Hessing, the wife of John William Hessing, a Dutch military officer who served in the Maratha Empire. Hessing died in 1803 while serving as Commandant of Agra. The tomb, completed around the time of the British conquest, is a scaled-down replica of the Taj Mahal. It stands on a square platform with octagonal platforms at each corner. The structure features a double dome, slender turrets, and arched openings, showcasing Mughal-style engravings and symmetrical designs. Inside, a stone cenotaph bears inscriptions in English.
