Car
If you are driving from the center of Alleppey, head southwest on NH66 (Kochi, Panvel - Kochi - Kanyakumari Hwy). Continue straight for about 8 kilometers. You will come across a sign for Kalavoor. Take the exit towards Kalavoor and follow the signs. The International Coir Museum is located at H88H+9QG in the Coirboard Complex. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Alleppey, you can take a local bus heading towards Kalavoor. Buses are frequent and usually take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kalavoor, ask the bus conductor to notify you when you reach the Coirboard Complex. It is a short walk from the bus stop to the museum, approximately 1 kilometer. Ensure you have small change for the bus fare, usually around ₹10-₹20.
Auto Rickshaw
