Continue straight, following the road as it curves along the waterfront. You'll pass local shops and eateries. The lake will be on your right. Entry to the lake is free.

    From Alappuzha KSRTC Bus Stand, take a local bus or auto-rickshaw towards Punnamada. Buses are frequent and cost approximately ₹10-₹20. Auto-rickshaws are readily available and will cost around ₹60-₹80 for the trip to the lake. The bus stand is near the SWTD boat jetty.
