From the Alappuzha KSRTC Bus Stand, walk west towards the lake. The viewpoint is approximately 3 km away, a pleasant walk through the town and along the lake. Follow the road towards Punnamada and look for signs indicating the Sunset Viewpoint. The walk should take around 45 minutes.

From Alappuzha town, take a local bus heading towards Punnamada. Buses are frequent and cost approximately ₹10-₹20. Alight near Punnamada Lake and walk a short distance to the viewpoint. Alternatively, consider an auto-rickshaw for around ₹80-₹100 from the bus stand.
