From the Government Arts and Science College, walk approximately 0.2 miles (0.3 kilometers) east along the main road. The museum will be on your left, adjacent to the Himayat Bagh gardens. This should take about 5 minutes. There are no entrance fees for the gardens, but the museum has an entry fee of INR 50.

Take a local bus from Aurangabad Central Bus Station towards Himayat Bagh. The bus fare is approximately INR 6-10. Alight at the bus stop near the Government Arts and Science College. From there, walk east for about 5 minutes (0.2 miles) to reach the museum. The museum is next to the Himayat Bagh.

From Aurangabad Airport, hire a taxi or ride-share to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum near Himayat Bagh. The ride is approximately 5.5 miles (9 kilometers) and should take about 20-25 minutes. The estimated fare is INR 250-400. From the Aurangabad Railway Station, a taxi or auto-rickshaw to the museum will cost approximately INR 150-250 and take around 15-20 minutes.
