Once you reach Nalanda, follow the signs towards the Ruins of Nalanda University, which is located on Nalanda University Site Rd, Mohanpur, Bargaon. There is parking available near the site.

From Patna, you can take a bus from the Patna Bus Stand to Nalanda. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 2 to 3 hours. You'll arrive at the Nalanda Bus Stand. From there, you can either hire an auto-rickshaw or a taxi to reach the Ruins of Nalanda University, which is approximately 12 kilometers away. The auto-rickshaw fare typically ranges from ₹150 to ₹250.

You can take a train from Patna to Nalanda. The nearest railway station is at Rajgir, which is about 10 kilometers from the ruins.
