Discover more about Shri Yantra Mandir

Located 3 km from the Amarkantak Bus Stand, the Shri Yantra Mandir is a modern temple that has quickly gained popularity. The temple is dedicated to Sri Vidya worship and Goddess Tripura Sundari, representing a 3D projection of the Sri Yantra. Construction of the temple began in 1991 on an auspicious day, with the goal of completion within 7-8 years. Mahamandleshwar Atal Peethadheeshwar Swami Sukhdevanand initiated the project under the guidance of sage Agastya. The temple's design reflects complex mathematical calculations, precise measurements, and intricate architecture. The structure is built on an elevated square platform covering 90,000 square feet, with uniform dimensions of 52 feet in length, breadth, and height. A prominent feature is the gigantic sculpture at the entrance, showcasing the faces of Goddesses Laxmi, Saraswati, Kali, and Bhuvaneshwari. Below these are sculpted figures of 64 yoginis along with Lord Ganesh and Kartikeya. The main sanctum houses a 62-inch tall statue of Mother Tripura Sundari, crafted from an alloy of eight metals (Ashtadhatu). The temple's design adheres to the ancient Agama Shastras, with construction occurring only during the Guru Pushya Nakshatra, considered an auspicious time. The temple is intended to install 125,000 Shri Yantras. While the temple is still under construction, its unique architecture and spiritual significance make it a must-visit destination in Amarkantak.
