Getting There

    If you are in Adyar, you can simply walk to B.M. Birla Planetarium. Start from any central point, like the Adyar Bus Stand, and head towards the Gandhi Mandapam Road. It's about a 20-minute walk. Walk straight down 1st Avenue, then take a right onto Gandhi Mandapam Road. Continue walking until you see the Planetarium on your left. Look for the signboards directing you towards the planetarium.

    You can take a local bus from various places in Adyar. From the Adyar Bus Stand, board any bus heading towards Kotturpuram or Anna University. The fare is generally around ₹10-₹15. Get off at the 'Gandhi Mandapam' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the B.M. Birla Planetarium. Head down Gandhi Mandapam Road until you see the entrance on your left.
