Catherine Water Falls, also known as St. Catherine’s Falls, is a stunning double-cascaded waterfall near Kotagiri in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. Dropping from a height of 250 feet (76 meters), it is the second-highest waterfall in the Nilgiri Mountains, offering breathtaking views and a refreshing escape into nature.

From Aravenu, follow Moon Road towards Catherine Falls. The walk is roughly 2-3 km through tea estates. Be prepared for some uphill sections. There are no entrance fees for the falls.

Hire a taxi or drive from Kotagiri or Coonoor to Aravenu. From Aravenu, continue along Moon Road as far as possible, then walk the remaining distance (approx. 2-3 km) to the falls.
