Walking
From Batasia Loop, head southeast towards the main road (Ghoom-Darjeeling Road). As you walk, you will see signs pointing towards Dali Monastery. Continue along the path until you reach the main road, then turn left. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll pass through some local shops and residences, so take your time to enjoy the local atmosphere. After approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to Dali Monastery on your right.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a trekking route from Batasia Loop. Start by walking towards the lower section of Batasia Loop and look for a well-marked trail heading up the hill. This route will take you through some beautiful scenery and local flora. The trek is moderately challenging and will take you about 30-40 minutes to reach Dali Monastery. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the trail can be steep in some sections.

Public Transport (shared jeep)
For those who prefer not to walk, you can take a shared jeep from Batasia Loop to Dali Monastery. Look for the shared jeep stand near the loop area. The fare is typically around ₹30 per person, and the journey takes about 10 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule as the frequency may vary. Once you reach the nearest drop-off point, it will be a short 5-minute walk to the entrance of Dali Monastery.
