If you are starting from Connaught Place, head to the Rajiv Chowk Metro Station. Take the Yellow Line (towards Samaypur Badli) and travel for two stops to Chandni Chowk Metro Station. Exit the station and head towards Chandni Chowk. From there, Lal Qila is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the main street, and you will see the impressive red walls of Lal Qila (Red Fort) on your right.

Auto-Rickshaw
From any central location, you can easily hail an auto-rickshaw. Just tell the driver 'Lal Qila' or 'Red Fort.' It’s a popular destination, and they will know the way. The ride will take around 15-30 minutes depending on traffic, and they will drop you off at the entrance of the fort.

Cycle Rickshaw
If you prefer a more traditional mode of transport, you can take a cycle rickshaw from nearby areas like Chandni Chowk. Simply look for a cycle rickshaw stand or wave one down. Tell the driver 'Lal Qila,' and they will take you directly to the entrance. The ride is enjoyable and will take about 10-20 minutes.

If you are already in the Chandni Chowk area, you can walk to Lal Qila. From the main market area, head towards the direction of the large red fortifications. The entrance is located on Netaji Subhash Marg. It’s a pleasant walk, and you can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Old Delhi. The distance is approximately 1 kilometer, which should take around 15 minutes on foot.
