Road
Hundru Waterfall is approximately 45 km from Ranchi. To reach the falls by road, one can hire a taxi or take a bus from Ranchi Bus Stop in Sarhul Nagar. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Follow the Ranchi-Purulia Road, and then travel 21 km from the main road to reach the waterfall. Alternatively, there is a shorter route from Ranchi via Ormanjhi via Sikidiri, reducing the distance to about 39 km. Parking is available at the site for a fee: ₹12 for two-wheelers, ₹25 for four-wheelers, and ₹100 for six-wheelers.
Public Transport
To reach Hundru Falls via public transport, take a bus from Ranchi to the Hundru Falls. Buses are available from Ranchi Bus Stand. From the bus stop, it's a short walk or auto-rickshaw ride to the waterfall entrance. Bus fares typically range from ₹50-₹100. Auto rickshaws may charge ₹50-₹100 for the final leg of the journey.
