Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the main market area of Gangtok (MG Marg), start by heading east towards the Paljor Stadium. From Paljor Stadium, take the road that leads to the Himalayan Zoological Park. Follow this road as it curves and ascends towards the park entrance. Continue on this path until you reach the junction with the road leading to Bulbullay Falls. The falls are approximately 3 kilometers from this junction. Look for signs indicating the direction of Bulbullay Falls, and follow the trail that leads to the falls. The walk should take about 45 minutes.

  • Trekking

    For a more adventurous route, consider trekking from the Ganesh Tok viewpoint. Begin at Ganesh Tok, which is accessible by a short hike from MG Marg or by taking a public bus to the viewpoint. From Ganesh Tok, follow the trekking path that descends towards the forested area. The trail is well-marked, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way. The trek to Bulbullay Falls from Ganesh Tok takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
