Located approximately 8 km from the heart of Gangtok, the viewpoint is easily accessible and offers a tranquil escape from the bustling city. Even on cloudy days, the sheer scale of the landscape is awe-inspiring. Over the years, the Sikkim government has recognized the tourism potential of Tashi View Point and developed the surrounding area to enhance the visitor experience. Amenities such as public restrooms, souvenir shops, and seating areas have been added to ensure a comfortable visit. For an even closer look at the peaks, a telescope is available for a small fee. There is also a cafeteria and sheds for resting.
