Getting There

  • Walking

    Start your journey from MG Marg, the main market area of Gangtok. Head east on MG Marg until you reach the junction at the end of the road. From there, take a left onto Jawaharlal Nehru Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for Lhasa Falls on your right side, just after you cross the Sungava area. The falls are visible from the road, and you can take a small pathway leading down to the viewing area.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From MG Marg, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the same street. Look for a local Sikkim State Transport bus heading towards Sungava. The fare is usually very affordable. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you're going to Lhasa Falls. The bus will take you along Jawaharlal Nehru Road. Ask the conductor to alert you when you arrive at the Sungava area. After getting off, walk a short distance back on the same road, and you will see Lhasa Falls on your right side.

  • Trekking

    For the more adventurous, you can take a trekking path from the nearby hill areas. Begin your trek from the Deorali Monastery, which is accessible via a short walk from MG Marg.
