Getting there

Taxi

From Gangtok city center (e.g., MG Marg), hire a taxi to Lhasa Falls, approximately 6 km away. The ride takes about 14 minutes via JN Road and NH13. A short taxi ride should cost around ₹123-₹187, depending on the distance. Confirm the fare before starting the journey.

Public Transport

From MG Marg, walk to the nearest bus stop. Take a local Sikkim State Transport bus heading towards Sungava. The bus will travel along Jawaharlal Nehru Road. Inform the conductor you are going to Lhasa Falls and ask to be alerted when you arrive at Sungava. After getting off, walk a short distance back on the same road to see Lhasa Falls on your right. Bus fare is very affordable.

Walking

From MG Marg, head east until you reach the junction at the end of the road. Turn left onto Jawaharlal Nehru Road and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll pass shops and eateries. Lhasa Falls will be on your right, just after you cross the Sungava area. A small pathway leads to the viewing area.
