Walking
From MG Marg, the main street in Gangtok, walk east towards the Sikkim Tourism Office. Take a slight right onto the road leading towards Enchey Monastery. Continue for about 1.5 km until a fork in the road. Take the left path towards Love Dara and follow it for 500 meters until you see a sign. The viewpoint is at 9H3J+J98, Gangtok, Sikkim 737103.

From MG Marg, walk to the shared taxi stand near the Sikkim Tourism Office. Take a shared taxi towards Enchey Monastery and tell the driver you want to go to Love Dara. After about 10 minutes, ask to be dropped off at the nearest point to Love Dara, from where it's a 10-minute walk uphill to the viewpoint. Shared taxis in Gangtok follow fixed routes with predetermined fares. Expect to pay around ₹20-₹30 for the shared taxi ride.
