Getting There

Walking
Start at MG Marg, the main street in Gangtok. Head east towards the Sikkim Tourism Office. From there, take a slight right onto the road leading towards the Enchey Monastery. Continue walking for about 1.5 km until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path which leads towards Love Dara. Follow this path for about 500 meters until you see a sign for Love Dara. The scenic viewpoint is located at '9H3J+J98, Gangtok, Sikkim 737103'.

From MG Marg, walk to the nearest shared taxi stand located near the Sikkim Tourism Office. Take a shared taxi towards the Enchey Monastery area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Love Dara. After approximately 10 minutes, ask to be dropped off at the nearest point to Love Dara. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk uphill to the viewpoint. Follow the signs directing you to Love Dara.

If you choose to rent a bicycle, start from MG Marg. Head towards the Enchey Monastery along the main road. The distance to Love Dara is about 2 km from MG Marg. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the left path leading to Love Dara. Once you reach the fork, take the left path and continue until you arrive at the viewpoint.
