Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at MG Marg, the main street in Gangtok. From MG Marg, walk towards the Gangtok Clock Tower. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction at Deorali. Take a left turn onto the Deorali Bazar Road. After about 500 meters, you will come to a bus stop. From there, you can catch a local shared taxi or walk further along the road.

  • Walking/Shared Taxi

    If you choose to take a shared taxi, board one heading towards Ranipool. The ride should take around 20 minutes. Once you reach Ranipool, request the driver to drop you off near the Shanti Viewpoint. If you prefer walking, continue on the Deorali Bazar Road until you reach the Ranipool-Rumtek-Sang Road. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you see signs for Shanti Viewpoint.
