From any location in Goa, take a local bus heading towards Mapusa. Once you reach Mapusa, locate the bus stand and board a bus to Valpoi. The journey will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Upon arriving in Valpoi, you may need to ask locals for the direction to Surla village, where the Tambdi Surla Waterfalls are located. There are occasional local jeeps or auto-rickshaws available to take you directly to Surla from Valpoi.

If you are already in the vicinity of Valpoi, you can hire an auto-rickshaw from Valpoi bus stand to Surla village. The distance is approximately 15 kilometers, and the ride will take around 30 minutes. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as auto-rickshaw drivers may not use a meter.

For the adventurous, you can trek to Tambdi Surla Waterfalls from the village of Surla. This trek is roughly 3 kilometers long, with well-marked paths leading through lush greenery. Make sure to wear proper trekking shoes and carry water, as the trek can be steep and rugged in parts. The trail takes you through beautiful landscapes, ending at the waterfalls which are a sight to behold, especially during the monsoon season.
