Road
To reach Pin Valley National Park, begin your journey in Kaza, the nearest major town. From Kaza, take the road towards Dhankar. At Attargo Bridge, cross over to the other side of the Spiti River, following the road that leads directly to Pin Valley. The distance from Kaza to Mudh, a common entry point to the park, is approximately 50 km. Shared taxis and private cabs are available in Kaza. A shared taxi to Mud can cost around INR 500-700 per person, while hiring a private cab for the trip may cost between INR 2500-3500. Be prepared for rough road conditions, especially closer to the park.

Walking
Once you reach Mudh, the gateway to Pin Valley, explore the park on foot. Many trekking trails start from here, allowing you to immerse yourself in the landscape. Remember to hire a local guide to navigate the trails and spot wildlife. There are no entry fees to visit Pin Valley National Park. However, if you are trekking, you may need to obtain permits for camping from the Forest Department. Also, note that you may need to pay a camera fee of around INR 100 for still cameras and INR 500 for video cameras.
