Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Kanyakumari town, start at the Kanyakumari Bus Stand. Exit the bus stand and head east towards the beach. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial. From there, keep walking along the coast for an additional 500 meters. You'll see a sign for the Bay of Bengal area. Continue walking towards the shoreline until you arrive at the Bay of Bengal.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Kanyakumari Bus Stand. Ride east along the Main Road (NH66), heading towards the coast. After about 1 kilometer, you’ll reach the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. From there, cycle along the coastal path for another 500 meters, and you will arrive at the Bay of Bengal area.

  • Rickshaw (Auto-rickshaw)

    If you prefer a quicker option, you can take an auto-rickshaw from anywhere in Kanyakumari. Simply tell the driver to take you to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial.
