If you are driving from Srinagar, head south on NH 44 towards Nowgam. Continue for about 12 kilometers until you reach Nowgam. From there, take the turn towards Kanihama. Follow the road signs leading to Great Lakes Kashmir. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some parts of the road may be rough.

To reach Great Lakes Kashmir via public transport, take a taxi or auto-rickshaw from Srinagar to Nowgam. The fare should be around ₹300-₹500. Once in Nowgam, look for local shared taxis or buses heading towards Kanihama. The shared taxi fare to Kanihama is usually around ₹100 per person. The total travel time from Srinagar to Kanihama will be approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on waiting times.
