If you are traveling by car, you can start your journey from Kochi. Head east on NH 47 towards Aluva. Continue on NH 47 until you reach the town of Angamaly. From Angamaly, take a left onto NH 85 (Kochi-Madurai-Tondi Point Rd). Continue straight on NH 85 for about 30 kilometers. You will pass through several small towns and scenic landscapes. Cheeyappara Waterfalls will be on your right side, just after Chillithodu. Look for signboards directing you to the parking area.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Kochi to Munnar. Buses run frequently from the main bus terminal in Kochi.
