Auto Rickshaw
From Fort Kochi, head towards the nearest auto rickshaw stand. You can find stands near the Chinese Fishing Nets or at St. Francis Church. Take an auto rickshaw to Cherthala; it will cost around ₹500-₹700. The ride takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic. Once you reach Cherthala, ask the driver to drop you at Thuravoor Mahakshethram, which is well-known and should be easily recognized by the locals.

From Ernakulam, head to the Ernakulam South Bus Station. Take a bus towards Cherthala, which will cost you approximately ₹30-₹50. The journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Cherthala Bus Station, exit and look for local transportation like an auto rickshaw or local buses heading towards Thuravoor. The temple is about 6 km from the bus station, so an auto rickshaw would be the quickest option.

From Ernakulam Junction, take a train towards Alappuzha. It takes around 1 hour. Get off at Cherthala railway station. From the station, you can hire an auto rickshaw to Thuravoor Mahakshethram, which is about 5 km away. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.
