Car
From Leh, head south on the Leh-Manali Highway (NH 3) for approximately 4 km. Look for signs pointing towards the Gomang Stupa and turn left onto the access road. Continue for about 1 km until you reach the base of the stupa. There is a small parking area available at the site.
Public Transportation
Catch a shared taxi or local bus from Leh to Choglamsar, which is a common route. The fare is typically around ₹50-₹100 per person. Upon reaching Choglamsar, you can hire a local taxi (about ₹300-₹500) to take you directly to Gomang Stupa, which is approximately 3 km away. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Walking
If you prefer a more adventurous route and are already in Choglamsar, you can walk to Gomang Stupa. Start from the main road in Choglamsar, heading towards the stupa which is about 3 km away. The walk will take around 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Follow the path that leads along the river for scenic views.
