If you are traveling by car, begin your journey from Leh, the capital city of Ladakh. Follow the NH 1D road southeast towards Shey. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the village of Hemis. From Hemis, follow the signs to Hemis National Park. The park entrance is located about 5 kilometers from the village. Keep in mind that the roads can be rough and winding, so drive cautiously.
