If you are traveling by car from Leh, take the Srinagar - Leh Highway (NH 1D) heading south. Continue driving for about 60 km until you reach the Indus Viewpoint, which is located on the left side of the highway, just before you reach the village of Choglamsar. Look for the viewpoint sign; there's usually parking available nearby. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.

To reach Indus Viewpoint using public transport, you can take a shared taxi or a bus from Leh to Choglamsar. Shared taxis leave regularly from the main taxi stand in Leh and the fare is around ₹200-₹300 per person. Once you reach Choglamsar, the Indus Viewpoint is about a 10-minute walk from the main road. Just ask locals for directions to the viewpoint, and they will guide you. The entire journey may take around 2.5 to 3 hours, including waiting times.
