If you are driving from Leh, head southeast on the Keylong-Leh Road (NH-1) for about 12 km. Follow the signs towards Choglamsar. You will pass through several small villages along the way. Keep an eye out for the monastery which is located on the left side of the road, near Choglamsar. The GPS coordinates for the monastery are approximately 34.0964° N latitude and 77.6018° E longitude. There is no entry fee for visiting the monastery.

From Leh, you can take a local bus towards Choglamsar. Buses leave from the Leh bus stand frequently throughout the day. The fare is usually around ₹30-₹50. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Karma Dupgyud Choeling Monastery. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Choglamsar, the monastery is a short walk from the bus stop. Look for signs or ask locals for directions.
