Getting There

  • Car

    If you are starting from Leh, the capital of Ladakh, take the NH 1D highway towards Diskit, the main town in Nubra Valley. The distance is approximately 120 km and will take around 4-5 hours. You will drive through Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Be sure to acclimatize properly before this journey as the altitude can be challenging. There is a toll fee of around INR 50 at the Khardung La checkpoint.
