If you are starting from Leh, the capital of Ladakh, take the NH 1D highway towards Diskit, the main town in Nubra Valley. The distance is approximately 120 km and will take around 4-5 hours. There is a toll fee of around INR 50 at the Khardung La checkpoint.

For the adventurous, renting a motorbike in Leh is a great way to reach Nubra Valley. Rentals typically cost around INR 1,000-1,500 per day.
