Car
If you're driving from Leh, head southeast on Fort Road towards the Stok Village Road. Continue on this road, following the signs to Stok. You will pass through scenic landscapes, and after approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach the village of Stok. From Stok, follow the signs towards Stok Kangri, which is about 5 kilometers further along a dirt road. The last part of the journey may require a 4x4 vehicle due to the rough terrain.

Public Transportation
To reach Stok Kangri using public transport, you can take a shared taxi or bus from Leh to Stok Village. Shared taxis can be found at the Leh taxi stand, and the fare is usually around INR 150-200 per person. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Stok, you will need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a trek to the base camp of Stok Kangri, which is about 5 kilometers away. It’s advisable to negotiate the fare with the local driver.
