    Start from the Leh main bazaar. Head northwest on Fort Road towards Spituk. Walk straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the traffic junction. At the junction, take a right turn onto the road that leads to Spituk. You will pass by the Indus River on your left. Continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Spituk Gompa on your left. Follow the path that leads uphill to the monastery.

    Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Leh. Begin your ride from the main bazaar and head towards Fort Road. Cycle straight for about 2 kilometers to the traffic junction and take a right turn onto the road leading to Spituk. Keep riding along the scenic route beside the Indus River for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for the sign for Spituk Gompa on your left, and follow the path uphill to reach the monastery.

  • Trekking

    Begin your trek from the Leh main bazaar. Head towards the Leh Palace and follow the path that leads upwards. This scenic trek will lead you towards Fort Road. Once you reach Fort Road, continue walking northwest for about 2 kilometers to the traffic junction. Take a right turn onto the road that leads to Spituk. Follow this road for another 1.5 kilometers, where you will find the sign for Spituk Gompa on your left. Trek uphill from there to reach the monastery.
