If you're traveling by car, start from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Head south on NH6 towards Jowai. After approximately 56 km, you will reach the town of Jowai. From Jowai, continue on the NH6 towards Khliehriat, and then take the road leading to Mawlynnong. Follow the signs for Mawlynnong village, which is about 25 km from Khliehriat. Upon reaching Mawlynnong, look for the signs that direct you to Asia's Cleanest Village. There is no entry fee for visiting the village, but you may want to engage in local tours which can incur additional costs.

To reach Mawlynnong via public transport, first take a shared taxi or bus from Shillong to Jowai. The journey takes about 2-3 hours and costs approximately INR 100-150.
