Once you reach Cherrapunji, follow the signs for Mawsmai Cave. As you enter Cherrapunji, take a right onto the road leading to Mawsmai. Continue on this road for about 5 km. Look for the entrance to the cave on your right, where there is a designated parking area.

From Shillong, you can take a shared taxi or a bus to Cherrapunji. The journey will take approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive in Cherrapunji, you can hire a local taxi or a rickshaw to take you to Mawsmai Cave. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mawsmai Cave, which is about 5 km from the main town. The drivers are familiar with the location and will take you directly to the entrance.
