If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya. Take the NH6 and head towards Cherrapunji. The distance is approximately 54 kilometers and will take around 2 hours. Once you reach Cherrapunji, follow the signs towards Wah-Kaba Falls, located at the coordinates 25.3115599 latitude and 91.7326608 longitude. You may need to navigate through some local roads, so keep your GPS handy. Parking is available near the falls.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a shared taxi or a bus from Shillong to Cherrapunji. The journey will take about 2 hours, and the fare is typically around INR 100-150 per person. Once you arrive in Cherrapunji, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Wah-Kaba Falls. The taxi fare from Cherrapunji to the falls is approximately INR 500-700 for a round trip. Ensure you negotiate the return time with the driver, as taxis may not be readily available in remote areas.
Walking/Trekking
