From Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST) Station, board a local train towards Churchgate on the Western Line. Travel to the next station, 'CST', and switch to the Harbour Line. Board a train heading to 'Vashi'. Get off at 'CST' and look for the ferry terminal located nearby.

At the ferry terminal, buy your ticket for the Elephanta Island ferry. The ferries leave from the Gateway of India. Once you have your ticket, board the ferry to Elephanta Island, which takes about 1 hour. Enjoy the scenic views of the Mumbai skyline during the ride.

Once you arrive at Elephanta Island, follow the signs to the Elephanta Caves. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the ferry drop-off point. The path is well-marked, and you will see various local vendors along the way.
