Bus
From any location in Ranchi, head to the Ranchi Bus Stand (also known as Ranchi Main Bus Station). You can take a local auto-rickshaw to reach the bus stand if needed. Look for buses heading towards Jamshedpur or nearby areas, as they usually stop at Tarub. Confirm with the conductor that the bus will stop at Tarub, which is the nearest location to Dassam Falls. The bus journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Tarub, you will need to hire a local auto-rickshaw or take a short walk to Dassam Falls, which is around 5 km from the bus stop.
Auto-rickshaw
If you're already at a central location in Ranchi, you can directly hire an auto-rickshaw to Dassam Falls. Just inform the driver that you want to go to 'Dassam Falls' or provide the address: 4FW8+GV5, Tarub, Jharkhand 835204. The drive will take about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to discuss the fare beforehand or ask the driver to go by the meter.
Bike Rental
If you're comfortable riding a bike, you can rent one from various rental services in Ranchi. Start at a central location, and head towards the Ranchi- Jamshedpur Highway (NH 33). Follow the signs towards Jamshedpur, and take a left turn onto the road leading to Tarub after approximately 10 km. Continue on this road for about 5 km, and you will reach Dassam Falls. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
