Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the Ranchi Railway Station, head to the nearby bus terminal. Look for buses that are heading towards Morabadi. The bus fare is typically very affordable. After boarding the bus, inform the conductor that you want to get off at 'Rajbhawan Road.' The journey will take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, Nakshatra Van is a short walk away. Head east on Rajbhawan Road for about 500 meters, and you will see the entrance to Nakshatra Van on your left.

• Auto Rickshaw

  From any location in Ranchi, you can hire an auto rickshaw to Nakshatra Van. Simply inform the driver to take you to 'Rajbhawan Road, near Rajbhavan, Ranchi University.' The ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes based on traffic conditions. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand or request the meter be used. The entrance to Nakshatra Van will be noticeable as you approach the area.

  If you are already in the vicinity of Ranchi University or Morabadi, you can walk to Nakshatra Van. Start at the main gate of Ranchi University and proceed towards Rajbhawan Road. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the signposts leading to Nakshatra Van. The park entrance will be on your right.

Cycle rickshaws are available throughout the city, and you can easily find one by waving at passing rickshaws or asking locals for a nearby rickshaw stand. Tell the rickshaw puller to take you to 'Rajbhawan Road, near Rajbhavan.' The ride will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic, and it is a great way to enjoy the local scenery.
