If you are starting from the iconic Laxman Jhula area, head south down the small road from Laxman Jhula towards the main market area. After approximately 500 meters, you will reach the Ganga Bank Road. Turn left onto Ganga Bank Road and continue walking for about 1 kilometer along the river. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the 'Lakshman Temple' signboards. As you approach Tapovan, you will see the temple on your right. The total walk should take about 20-30 minutes.

From the main bus stand in Rishikesh, you can take an auto rickshaw directly to Lakshman Temple. Provide the driver with the address '48GG+MHW, Tapovan, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand 249192'. The ride will typically take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

From the Rishikesh bus stand, board a local bus heading towards Tapovan or Laxman Jhula. Ensure to ask the conductor if the bus stops near Lakshman Temple. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes.
