If you are in the central area of Shillong, start at Police Bazaar, which is a well-known landmark. From Police Bazaar, head towards Khyndailad and continue straight until you reach the junction at the end of the road. At the junction, turn left onto the Mawshbuit-Sweet Falls Road. Continue walking straight on this road for about 3 kilometers. You’ll pass several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for signage directing you to the Ever Living Museum. The museum is located on your right side at HW6M+4RV, Mawshbuit-Sweet Falls Rd, Mawshbuit. It should take you approximately 45 to 60 minutes to reach the museum on foot.

From Police Bazaar, walk to the nearest shared taxi stand, which is usually located near the main market area. Look for a taxi that is headed towards Mawshbuit. The fare is generally inexpensive, and it should take about 20-30 minutes to reach Mawshbuit. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Ever Living Museum or simply mention Mawshbuit-Sweet Falls Road. Once you arrive in Mawshbuit, ask the driver to drop you off as close as possible to the museum, located at HW6M+4RV. You may need to walk a short distance from where the taxi drops you off.
