Start from Police Bazaar, a central hub in Shillong. Head north on Laitumkhrah Road towards the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU). Continue straight for about 2 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and eateries. Once you reach the NEHU campus, look for signs directing you to प्रेम सरोवर. The location is near JV5X+JQP within the university campus. Follow the path leading to the lake, which is a popular spot for visitors and offers scenic views.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Police Bazaar, take a local bus heading towards North Eastern Hill University (NEHU). The bus fare is very affordable, usually less than ₹20. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at NEHU. The bus will drop you at the main entrance of the university. From there, you can either walk straight towards the lake by following the signs or ask for directions from local students or staff. The distance from the bus stop to प्रेम सरोवर is about a 10-minute walk.

At Police Bazaar, you can hire an auto rickshaw to take you directly to North Eastern Hill University. Negotiate the fare, which should be around ₹50-₹100. Ask the driver to drop you off at the main entrance of NEHU. From the entrance, follow the signs to the lake, which is situated within the campus. It's a short walk from the entrance to प्रेम सरोवर.
