Walking
If you are in the Police Bazaar area, start by walking towards the main road (M.G. Road). Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with the Sadar Police Station on your left. Turn left onto the road that leads towards the Secretariat Hills. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will see the Capt. Williamson Sangma State Museum on your right.

From the Police Bazaar, you can easily find shared autos or local taxis that go towards Secretariat Hills. Board one and inform the driver that you want to go to Capt. Williamson Sangma State Museum. It's a short drive of about 10-15 minutes. The museum is located on your right after you pass the Secretariat building.

Starting from the General Post Office (GPO) in Shillong, head towards the main road and take a right. Walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading to Secretariat Hills. Walk for another 500 meters, and you will find the Capt. Williamson Sangma State Museum on your right.
