If you are in Upper Shillong, start by heading towards the main road. Look for the signposts indicating 'Police Bazar'. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views and the fresh air. The distance to the Botanical Garden is approximately 4 kilometers, which should take about 45 minutes to an hour on foot. Follow the road signs pointing towards Police Bazar and Khyndailad. Once you arrive in the Police Bazar area, look for the entrance to the Botanical Garden located at HVGP+JP9. It's a popular spot and should be easy to find.

From Upper Shillong, you can take a local bus heading towards Police Bazar. The bus will cost you around ₹10-₹20. Make sure to ask the conductor to drop you off at Police Bazar. Once you get off, the Botanical Garden is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head towards Khyndailad, and you will see the entrance to the garden on your left.

Shared Taxi
You can also opt for a shared taxi from Upper Shillong to Police Bazar. This should cost you around ₹50-₹100 per person. Once you reach Police Bazar, the Botanical Garden is just a 10-minute walk away. Look for signs directing you to Khyndailad, where the garden is located. The entrance is at HVGP+JP9.
