    If you are driving from Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, take the NH10 highway towards Mangan. Follow the signs to Lachung and Yumthang. The road to Valley of Flowers is accessible from Yumthang. It's approximately a 6-7 hour drive. Once you reach Yumthang, follow the local signs to the Valley of Flowers, which is about 25 kilometers from Yumthang. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for hilly terrain.

  • Public Transportation

    From Gangtok, you can take a shared taxi or a bus to Mangan. The journey takes about 5 hours. Once in Mangan, board another shared taxi to Lachung. This part of the journey will take around 2 hours. From Lachung, you can hire a local taxi to reach Yumthang, which is approximately 1 hour away. After reaching Yumthang, you will need to trek or hire a local guide or vehicle to reach the Valley of Flowers, approximately 25 kilometers from Yumthang.

    Once in Yumthang, if you prefer trekking, prepare for a scenic hike to the Valley of Flowers. The trek is about 8-10 kilometers, depending on the route you take.
