    If you are driving, start from the nearest major town, Canning, which is approximately 30 km away from Gosaba. Follow the Canning-Gosaba Road (NH 117) towards Gosaba. The journey takes about 1 hour depending on traffic. Once you reach Gosaba, look for signs directing you to Durga Mandir. The Sundarban Eco Tourism office is located near Durga Mandir, on Gosaba Market Road.

  • Public Transportation

    From Kolkata, you can take a local train from Howrah Station to Canning. The train ride takes about 1 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Canning Station, you can take a shared auto-rickshaw or cycle rickshaw to reach Gosaba, which is about 30 km away. The auto-rickshaw fare is usually around ₹50-₹100 per person. After reaching Gosaba, head towards Durga Mandir, where you will find the Sundarban Eco Tourism office nearby.

  • Boat

    If you prefer a scenic route, take a boat from Kolkata to Gosaba. Various ferry services operate from Kolkata's ferry ghats (like Babughat) to Gosaba. The boat ride can take 3 to 4 hours.
